What People are Saying

Absolutely loved our 2nd visit (even though it has taken us 6 years!). Lovely clean cottage where we felt very safe despite the current situation. It really is a beautiful area with lots to see & do (we only wish we could’ve stayed longer). You are such lovely & friendly people & also helpful with recommendations of things to do. We hope to see you again soon!

A very lovely cottage, beautifully furnished & everything you could want. Many thanks. It was so relaxing in these difficult times, gorgeous walks & so much sunshine! Thanks you Chris & Gill, we hope to come & stay again under better circumstances so we can at least greet & talk without self distancing zone! Take care & once again many thanks.

We have had a splendid week. The cottage has been delightful - with all our needs catered for! We had a wonderful walk to Wookey Hole, to the lovely pub & a hike back across the gorge which was an adventure and stunning! Thank you so much.

The end has come to our six week adjourn in your beautiful piece of paradise. Our thanks for your very warm welcome, pleasurable company & thoughtful preparations for our holiday - this our third here. You make is feel as if we have come home again. To other fortunate visitors now to this area, you are in for a treat. We can highly recommend Wells township - The Bishops Palace gardens are a delight & our meals at the Italian restaurant Rugantino’s was delicious. Also worthy of a visit are Yeo Valley gardens, Blagdon, the Avalon Marshes on the Somerset levels, Sherbourne Castle, The National Trust properties Tyntesfield, Montecute, Prior Park and the jewel of Stourhead (there are many others too). So many delights and something new to discover each holiday. With Gratitude to the Minns.
